May your friendship be blessed with laughter, but never at the expense of the dignity of one other. May your friendship be a delight to both. May you be kind to each other and honest, and may there be gentleness in your honesty. May there be loyalty but without the chains of obedience, only freely given.
If you by chance experience harsh words or unkind thoughts, my you pick them up like pebbles on a road and toss them aside. May there be closeness but also enough space in-between. May there be support mutual support and care and may your friendship endure amidst the inconstancies of the world.
Let your friendship have its seasons but let it turn, ever-changing, ever-returning to the place of mutual love and like for yourself and the other.
