The 7 of swords is such an interesting card in the Tarot deck. It is one of those cards that can have a totally different interpretation. I usually go with the image of ‘a guy sneaking off with other people’s stuff’ but today this image is showing me something totally different. This guy feels like he’s taken what he could, what he could easily carry and left behind what would have been too much to carry. In all this he is rather pleased with himself, hence the smile. He is not looking back at what was left behind with regret but with the satisfaction of a job well done.
If you’ve done all that you were capable of doing and the last bit is seeming like too much, then just let it be. Be pleased about what you have achieved and let go the regret of not doing the rest. In art, there is a saying – paintings are not finished, just abandoned, because an artist can keep at a painting till kingdom come. At some point, you have to stop. Especially when it starts to overwhelm you. In fact, if you don’t stop at that point, the painting usually ruined.
If you’ve left something behind assume that it was not meant to be. Don’t waste your energy on what-ifs and keep your attention on what was gained not on what was lost.
Have a super day ❤
Thank you
